The Sixth Vasbyt Adventure Race will be in the Southern Drakensberg on the 20-23 January 2022 and will have three race distances – 60hr, 12hr and 6hr.

The 60hr event will have a winning time of 42-45 hours with a race cut off of 60 hours and will be ideal training for the upcoming Expedition Africa in Lesotho. The event will give teams the experience of racing through two nights and gain some valuable altitude training. Passports will be needed for all racers.
The 12hr event will have a winning time of 7 hours with a race cut off of 12 hours. It will be more of an introductory / novice adventure race with basic / intermediate navigation via google earth images and 1:50000 topographical maps.
The 6hr event that was due to take place on the 22nd Jan have been cancelled. Email us at info@vasbyter.co.za if you had planned to enter this event and we can let you know options for doing the 12hr event.
